The 2009-2010 Theatre 3 Company embarks on an exciting original work created from the texts of written communication: found letters, emails, and text messages. This world-premiere production explores the transformation of written language as mediated by technology; the title is computer-speak describing an email address that cannot be delivered to. The letters of famous figures—ranging from Cicero to Voltaire to Abraham Lincoln, from Beethoven to Van Gogh to Andy Warhol—are interwoven in a eclectic performative collage with live music, dance, and correspondence between company members and loved ones around the world as the very nature of human communication—its triumphs and failures—is investigated.
